Cons

All good things must come to an end, and that includes our discussion about the KastKing Sharky III. Although we were overall pleased with this reel, it does come with a couple of drawbacks.

Most notably, the smoothness of this reel does wear away with time. Though it won't break entirely, the smoothness will slowly go down the more you use it, especially if you like using this Sharky in saltwater environments.

Another drawback is that the 5000 is very small. It is only slightly larger than the 2000, meaning you should definitely get a different brand if you need a 5000 level fishing reel. The other sizes of this reel are more accurate.

Finally, the last drawback is its customer service. It is difficult to get ahold of a person who can actually help you, no matter what your question is about this product.
